The Social Intervention Group (SIG) is actively recruiting for one
postdoctoral position for the *Training Program on HIV and Substance Use in
the Criminal Justice System*. This unique pre- and post-doctoral T32
program proposes to train the next generation of bio-behavioral researchers
in the skills necessary for the conceptualization, planning, and conduct of
research on HIV and substance abuse prevention, treatment, and
implementation science designed for individuals involved with the criminal
justice system. This program places a strong emphasis on those in
alternatives to incarceration and undergoing community supervision (e.g.,
diversion programs, probation, community and drug courts).
This program will continue to train the next generation of bio-behavioral
researchers in the skills necessary for the conceptualization, planning,
and conduct of research on prevention and treatment of HIV and substance
misuse—particularly opioid misuse—and implementation science designed for
individuals involved with the CJ system.
Postdoctoral trainees may receive up to two years support, as well as a
stipend, travel funds, training related expenses.
