A qualitative study is seeking to explore racialized experiences of graduate students of color within the Gillings School of Global Public Health to help understand and identify approaches to address diverse student needs. This study is organized by The Equity Collective, a student group working to create, promote, and sustain equity at Gillings.
The study is currently seeking a paid facilitator to conduct focus group discussions and in-depth interviews with public health graduate students. To be considered for this role, an individual must be a graduate student at UNC who has experience in qualitative research methods including in-depth interviews and focus group discussions. The prospective facilitator must be willing to commit a total of 30 hours during Spring 2019. Individuals from underrepresented racial and ethnic groups are encouraged to apply.
