National Health Corps is currently recruiting for the upcoming 2019-2020 AmeriCorps service term.
NHC provides members an extreme amount of real world experience in Public Health. Graduation is a stressful time with many students unsure of what to do next. There are also a number of benefits given to National Health Corps members, including a living allowance, health insurance, and child care subsidies during their term of service.

National Health Corps (NHC) is an AmeriCorps program that recruits, trains, and places emerging leaders in resource-limited organizations. Our members help build healthy communities by providing health education and health access to underserved individuals throughout the United States.

- 1700 hours of clinical service to medically underserved
- Diverse host sites to serve different groups (children, mentally ill,
homeless, chemically dependent, pregnant, etc.)
- 10.5 month commitment that aligns perfectly with a gap year
- Monthly non-clinical service projects (Habitat for Humanity,
Special Olympics, etc.)
- $6095 Education award to use for medical or graduate school!
