Employer: HealthTech4Medicaid (HT4M)
Located in: California
Degree Required: Other
Needed: Interns with Passion for Public Health/Medicaid
Summer, Fall, Spring & flexible Internships Available
We are seeking interns who would benefit from a hands-on, projectoriented internship for class credit.
HT4M is dedicated to supporting innovation in Medicaid. Our vision is to further
improve quality and access to care for Medicaid recipients. We bring payers,
providers, patients, policy makers and innovators to a communal table, collaborating
to forge innovative solutions that solve real problems faced by Medicaid enrollees and
the entities that serve them.
Because we're an early stage nonprofit, this is an opportunity for student interns to
have real and genuine impact with the work they do. We’d love to help public health
students learn and achieve while they help us with critical projects that further our
mission. Ideally we're looking for students who:
• Already passionate about Medicaid
• Possibly also passionate about healthcare policy
• Have fantastic research skills (or the fortitude to greatly improve them)
• Are innately curious and have an eagerness to ask "what if?"
• Are tech savvy
• Have great attitudes about getting stuff done
• Detail oriented (okay, borderline detail obsessive)
• Looking for an opportunity to grow their knowledge, develop their skills, and
become ambassadors for the 75 million people enrolled in Medicaid today
Our team is distributed between San Francisco and Salt Lake City. Students in either
location are welcome, as well as remote. We're also extremely flexible when it comes
to scheduling, and can work around a job work schedule.
If you’re interested in joining our intern team, please send a note explaining your
interest, what your program requires for internship credit, and a CV or resume to
