The Escuela de Gestión Pública of Universidad del Pacífico (EGP) aims at improving the management of public administration, through a robust education, the development of key competences and the promotion of ethical conduct in public and private sector officials, who participate in policy design and implementation.
The Escuela de Gestión Pública creates the Observatory of Public Policies to strengthen and lead research and analysis of sectoral and multi sectoral national policies. The Observatory will facilitate the creation of specialized networks for public managers encouraging citizen debate and oversight, as well as the production of technically sound publications that will contribute to the good design, formulation and management of public policies.
Conduct research in Public Policies, and related areas, independently and in collaboration with other faculty research members.
Teach in the masters, specialized programs or courses of the EGP.
3. Other activities
Manage the Observatory of Public Policies.
Ph.D. Academic Degree in a Peruvian or a foreign University. Outstanding candidates, who are close to obtaining the academic degree of doctor, can also apply.
Aptitude for research, demonstrated by recent publications and development of applied research projects in public management, preferably in Political, Social or Economic sciences.
Proven ability to teach in masters and executive education programs.
Professional working experience in the public sector.
Excellent writing and speaking skills in Spanish and English languages.
