|Position Description:||CLD is seeking a Research Assistant Professor to join a dynamic team of faculty and staff who are working to translate research into sustainable community practices for people with disabilities and their families. Successful applicants will join a unique, interdisciplinary program with emphases on disability, health and wellness, disparities, positive behavior support, autism, policy, and community applications. CLD is designated as a University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD) with the mission of enhancing independence, self-determination, inclusion, and productivity for those we serve. The selected candidate will contribute to the CLD’s research, university teaching, technical assistance, and community outreach programs.
|Qualifications:||Candidates must have an earned doctorate in Psychology, Public Health, Special Education, Rehabilitation, or a related field with a focus on health, wellness, and dissemination of evidence-based practices for individuals with disabilities and their families. Evidence of proficiency in teaching and online instruction is highly desirable. CLD is actively seeking to expand its research portfolio of funded projects; candidates must demonstrate experience in (or potential for) actively contributing to grant writing, project management, data analysis, and dissemination.

Within the School of Public Health, The Mark Chaffin Center for Healthy Development is a designated university-level research center.
The Center for Leadership in Disabilities (CLD) within the Center for Healthy Development and the School of Public Health is seeking an early-career faculty member to join the center for the Fall 2019 semester.
