DCRC is seeking staff to provide support and services to the Latinx community in Durham
DCRC is seeking an Immigrant Services Coordinator to focus on enhancing services to
the Latinx survivors of domestic and sexual violence. This staff member will provide
support and coordination of services for Spanish-speaking survivors, including: provide
case management and safety support services; support the Spanish-language crisis line;
coordinate support groups; coordinate access to services through partner agencies;
facilitate an agency-wide Latinx services team; serve as a liaison between DCRC and
service providers focusing on the Spanish-speaking community; and provide direct
supervision and support of staff and volunteers, as needed.
?Must be fluent in oral and written English and Spanish.
?Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Health, Human Services or
related field (Advanced degree preferred) along with a minimum two years’
experience providing services to victims of domestic violence, sexual violence
and/or other crimes.
?Supervisory experience a plus.
?Strong collaboration and communication skills needed.
?Experience working effectively with a diverse population and a commitment to
anti-oppression models of service.
