The Women's Global Health Imperative (WGHI) is a Program within RTI International, based in the RTI San Francisco office (until February 2020, when it will be in the RTI Berkeley office). We conduct rigorous epidemiologic, biomedical, and sociobehavioral research to identify and intervene on factors that affect infectious disease and chronic health outcomes for women and vulnerable populations. These research findings are used to inform the design and implementation of new programs, monitoring and evaluation systems, and health policies around the world.
WGHI is currently seeking a Bachelor’s Level Public Health Analyst with a background and interest in global health research. As an analyst, you will function as an integral part of a team providing analytic and data management support to senior staff conducting public health research. The analyst will assist with research project activities related to HIV and reproductive health issues and the development of new technologies to prevent HIV, STIs and unwanted pregnancies. The projects involve coordinating with a wide range of scientists, researchers, and technology experts in global health.
