|Description of Work Unit||
The Department of Human Development and Family Studies is one of eight academic programs in the College of Health and Human Sciences. Colorado State University (CSU) is Colorado’s land grant institution and holds the Doctoral/Research University- Extensive classification from the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education. CSU is one of three core academic institutions that comprise the Colorado Clinical and Translational Sciences Institutes (CCTSI). Many faculty in Human Development and Family Studies engage in multidisciplinary research collaborations with other CCTSI Institutions and affiliates, including the University of Colorado School of Medicine, the School of Public Health, and the Children’s Hospital Colorado. Specific research may include but is not limited to communication and cognition in children with developmental disabilities including Down syndrome (ages 2.5 to 17), health, stress, and the aging process.
The Department of Human Development and Family Studies, HDFS, seeks applications throughout the year from individuals who are interested in obtaining a temporary (i.e., time-limited) research position.
|Required Job Qualifications||
A bachelor’s degree that reflects training in Human Development and Family Studies, Nutrition, Health and Exercise Science, Public Health, or related field
|Preferred Job Qualifications||
- Master’s degree preferred.
