The Research Associate will report to the Research Assistant Professor/Implementation Scientist. The individual selected will be responsible for managing and executing on applied research studies, assisting in the development of proposals to secure funding for future work, and helping with the development of manuscripts and publications.
This individual will work with principal investigators, research collaborators, and personnel to direct research and planning across multiple projects (e.g., participant management, data collection, data management, qualitative data analysis) and to execute across multiple projects (e.g., overseeing research staff to ensure successful execution of the project, coordinating across multiple sites and stakeholders, disseminating of best practices and findings internally & externally).
A PhD or Masters degree in the area of health services research or a related field.
|Qualifications and Experience||
A PhD and a minimum of 2 years’ experience or a Masters degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience working on the execution of complex applied research projects, including protocol development, participant coordination and management, data collection, data management and qualitative data analysis. Candidate must have experience in the design, execution and management of applied research projects.
The ability to participate in a collegial environment that fosters ongoing collaboration with faculty and stakeholders from a variety of disciplines is essential. The preferred candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to identify and solve problems, and be highly flexible.
The ability to execute and produce quality deliverables on applied research projects, under minimal guidance from a PI. Need to also be able to work as part of highly collaborative project teams.
